Interview with Myself

Be Honest Ithamar... :)

See It On:

How do you see your role in all this world?

I understand that I have been blessed with many life circumstances and aptitude gifts in order to achieve a significant purpose in this life. Recent events have clarified my mission. I see myself as a population and world healer. I see myself as a bridge between the ancient and the future, the secular and the religious, the Jews and the rest of the world.

What do I hope to achieve?

They say charity begins at home (and they also say if you think you are enlightened go and spend a few weeks living with your parents.) Firstly I want to arrange my life so that I am adhering as best as possible to the organic, health food way of eating, and am able to ingest the olive leaf extract with a Kosher stamp.

Then expanding from this, I would like my family to acquire the benefits of this way, as so do I want the same for my friends. Then the next step is that I wish these benefits to the community which I belong to. Then, there is that natural inner healer and health promoter in me who has deep care and compassion for the entire people of the world and the environment which drives my commitment to help all…by means of promoting and propagating olive leaf extract and general health (physical and spiritual) to everyone.

This will probably involve a lot of learning. Torah, Rambam medicine, Naturopathy…population health, peace negotiation…etc etc.

Do you really think you could achieve this? You are one human after all, are you not?

I am one leaf of a tree and the world’s people are all the other leaves. Together all of us can achieve anything we put our minds and hearts to. I feel able and willing to abide by this mission I feel I have been blessed with. I truly feel blessed, in the form of humility and gratitude for the traits I have been given, for my morals, for my training and for my life circumstances, which have all allowed me to reach the path I am taking and in this way to serve the universe as best I can.

Meditation

I am only a novice. During meditation I have been recently having glimpses of other domains of reality…entering spaces which I do not understand. Only briefly…split seconds and sometimes seconds where time does not exist and the mind is blank. I wish to develop this further. These glimpses in turn have changed my view of how reality itself in my day to day life. Life is more vibrant, colourful and…alive. I am more present in my everyday time. This sense of presence I wish to enhance. This is a personal journey I have been on for years…. To quieten the mind and be whole in any situation…feel every feeling and movement, hear every sound, absorb every sight without the distraction of the mind. It is an exciting road…and dealing with the frustrations on the way with patience and tolerance is lots of interesting work.

I am praying and meditating more and more, and it is becoming a real joy rather than a chore...and i am more and more drawn to it...to the point where i am happy to stay sitting in a meditation and prayers for...yet i choose to get out of it to perform 'other tasks.' There is much work to do in this world, that is life: service to the divine and all this involves.

Sometimes I cry…when I contemlate on how desperate the world situation currently is, with our universally neglected spiritual connection, our addictions to illusion, our collapsing healthcare systems, our corruption and immorality, our hatred conflicts and violence, the pain and suffering we are causing ourselves, our fellow humans, our animal friends and our sacred earth…and then of course I laugh at how this is all an impermanent illusion. This world of suffering is not the real world…the real world is the world to come, where there is no suffering.

Why are you such a goodie goodie?

Well I have always liked helping, and as I said in my interview to get into medicine course, that’s why I wanted to be a doctor- because It was the only way I though I could help people. Increasingly, lately, I have had some amazing realisations…the most significant one of all being that I am dying. I realised that I am dying every second, and when I actually do die, eventually, when my time is up, all that will be left behind of real value is the influences and effects I have had on people…the mitzvas I have done, the Torah I have learnt and the energy i radiated to the world and its inhabitants in thought speech and action. So this sparked me to want it to be all good. Not for any promise of future life of lying on a hammock in Gan Eden sipping on my organic fruit juice and not for any reward- but for now…for this life, and for the people, animals and world in which i am an honoured guest. Simple as that- it has to be All Good- and to that I am striving. Nothing else matters. Not money or possessions, only feelings- only love. My mission here is to radiate pure love. That's the 'emet'…the truth.

What do I think about Globalisation?

Globalisation is the natural evolution and revolution which we are now undergoing. This is Elokim’s plan. It is the flow. We are living in very exciting times. In this time the spiritualities from all over the world are slowly merging as its disciples assimilate in our multicultural societies. All the world has all religions and all religions spread the essential truth of all the world…that there is one god. As we are rapidly approaching the realisation of our ultimate goal:

''ואהבת לרעך כמוך..."

”Ve-ahavta le-reaha kamoha”…"And you shall love your fellow as yourself." To live with one another in peace love and harmony. The healing movement, too, is gathering tremendous momentum via its cultivation of worldwide remedies of all aspects, physical, spiritual, emotional… more people are entering fields of helping eachother. Is that because more people need help? Many people are still largely at a stage of ignorance or denial…neither of these states being a ‘fault’ of theirs, but a mere fact, a consequence of the circuimstances that they have grown up with. We should never blame people for their 'inadequacies.' We are all human and we all have issues to work on. Everyone's place in the world is a manifestation of divine intentions. It is all God's will. That is just the way it is at the moment- The majority of the population just have a long way to go to reach a state of awareness and knowledge, strive only to do good and follow the truthful path, putting all other issues out of the way (the greatest distraction to the truth is the greed for money- this is the greatest idol worship of our days). This ability to be able to differentiate between truth and illusion, good and bad, is given to us by the almighty. The choice is ours. Since we know that we should chose good, it is only a matter of saying no to the lies and corruption, to the bad in all aspects of our lives, internal and external. Letting go of all the crap (excuse the language) we have built up inside us (in this lifetime and all previous lifetimes.) We must eradicate all aspects of hatred, jealousy, greed, anger, lusts, arrogance and anything we do not like about our inner selves. These feelings are from the 'dark side.' When we do this we will work God with a pure heart of love and compassion.

Being good means being good to ourselves in all aspects of life. Avoiding sin is the ultimate way to be good to ourselves. Avoiding lusts and temptations that are harmful to body and soul is the great test of our generation. The example is with regards to our health. When the population is asked about health- a large majority claims it is not so important to them. Yet when one has any symptoms let alone suffer an actual illness, they surely as the sun comes up become fixated on the illness and symptoms, in all sorts of methods such as attention seeking, worry, fear and they will dwell upon it until they rid themselves of it, usually with a quick fix pill or treatment and with no growth involved.

When the population is surveyed on spirituality many say ‘no thanks, leave that to the hippies and religious fanatics.’ Yet without many exceptions, when the critically ill or those who have undergone a severe trauma are asked, these human beings are preoccupied and are fascinated with the meaning of life.

In this way illness serves as a warning sign, a sign to change, to realise what is important in life. Illness is a great message to get closer to self love, love of others and God. Those who have had near death experiences are often transformed, as if with the sight of eternal light they ‘got it’ finally- they understood what really matters.  So my point is that the world is all heading one way: with the flow- the way back to the source; back to God, and people are rapidly realising this...and this momentum will only increase as we are all become better educated, connected and aware.

This time is very exciting for many reasons…the world is returning to God…and He, the Almighty, the Creator, will be here soon in a fascinating way, as the third temple will be built in Yerushalaim and return its status as the capital of the world. There will be great open miracles soon and God's name will be praise by all. It is so easy to be educated these days, so if you are a little behind, as I have been before my Teshuva, I highly recommend for you to educate yourself immediately. Another amazing aspect of the world is that technology has advanced so fast, with God's help. We have all the luxuries we could possibly want, healing tools, industrial tools, communication methods and many other areas have flourished. We are able to be connected to the whole world via the world wide web…it is fascinating. We have of course, always been connected energetically and spiritually to each other via the holy spirit, but now we are also connected by other forms of energy which the communication industry uses- and as much as these technologies may be a distraction from cultivating our innate energetic connection, they have enabled us to research, prove and learn things that the average westerner would have never though possible (and many, in their arrogance of ignorance still deny.)

We have been shown by very expensive research technology and equipment, that human body energy fields (auras) exist and reflect mood and spiritual connectedness in their appearance and behaviour. The hindus, kabbalists, Buddhist, Orthodox Christians, Chinese and 97 different (known) ancient cultures as well as some pretty connected western individuals such as Hippocrates, Pythagoreans, Paracelsus, Rambam, and Rudolf Steiner were well versed in the aura phenomena. Yet the average doctor these days really needs a boost of education about what is available to heal their patients. This takes great humility, for arrogance prevents acceptance of such fundamental aspects of the human body as the soul and its need for healing. While we are on the subject of healing, recent medical research has proved to us (with statistical significance) the remarkable health benefits of spirituality, meditation, prayer, healthy eating habits and ancient herbal remedies…yet still so much is left to be rediscovered (or rather uncovered) which are, again, areas in which those ancient civilisations were so advanced.

An excellent example of the climax of unification which is currently occurring is the rediscovery of Olive Leaf Extract, a substance which I have special interest in, based on my own recent discovery of its incredible healing powers, my intuitive understanding of its remarkable potential as a world healer and my interpretation of the Torah, in Genesis (Noah) Chapter 8, Pasuk 11. Here, after the flood was at its cessation, Noah sent the dove to scout the state of the earth. I.E. to see if there was a sign of Life, a sign of Hope for the human race to return to life on land. God sent the dove empty the first time, but the second time she was sent, a week later, she returned with God’s symbol for safety, for Hope, for Life. Genesis Chapter 8 Pasuk 11 says: “Therein she returned in the evening with an olive leaf, (fresh/a donation) in her mouth.”

I interpret this gift from God as a very significant sign to the human race. Out of all the possible things that God could have sent, He sent the dove back with an OLIVE LEAF!!! HELLO!!! Does that ring any excitement bells in you?

After examining the recent evidence for the effectiveness of olive Leaf, I am very excited. Hear my words: OLIVE LEAF EXTRACT WILL BECOME THE MOST ESSENTIAL HEALING TOOL FOR MANKIND!!!

It’s kind of ironic that with the tools of modern advance we have learned to extract the knowledge and the goodness told to us in ancient times. The ancient civilisations in some ways were more advanced than us…and we still cannot explain many advancements, and we still cannot explain (or prove of course) how existence came to be…how the universe was created…as every proposed theory has been flawed by some logical opposition. Let us remember our genius scientist Albert Einstein not only for his universe altering formulas, but for his most emphatic realisation: “I maintain that cosmic religious feeling is the strongest and noblest incitement to scientific research.” You cannot measure that by a ruler, you can’t type in into a calculator or a computer, you can’t measure it in a test tube…yet spirituality, religion, meditation, is, without doubt, the most essential formula of mankind…and the key to our salvation.

SO YOU THINK THAT EVERY DISEASE/ILLNESS/SYMPTOM HAS A REASON. How does this fit in with your teachings as a western doctor?

Rabbi Shraga Simmons passes on this knowledge perfectly: “Specific events which modify our behavior in the area where our soul needs its "Tikkun," rectification. These events are not random; rather, they are instructive. Meaning there is a deep connection between the event and the message it contains. " This is what I believe truly, based on personal experience and extensive readings of worldwide spiritual and ‘new age’ beliefs. Each situation which one is present in is aimed at teaching us a lesson…and disease is a serious lesson, saying- ‘wake up’ and feel what is missing in your soul. Wake up and fix your soul. Close the gap between what your conscience/inner voice/holy spirit/Elohim wants you to do and what you are actually doing…for this gap is the cause of all suffering. So indeed see every curse as a blessing, for this is your inner self guiding you towards the right path. This knowledge is engraved in my heart and mind and I know it to be the truth. This is why I am wishing to divert my medical skills and knowledge into the realms of spiritual healing, because as much as I feel (and have been challenged extensively by my loved ones) that I would make a great surgeon, there are plenty of other people who can be that, whereas I have been blessed with gifts that must be put to use for the greater good of mankind…and this is what I am being called, and craving to cultivate.

Ahh..have you ever thought you may be going crazy?

I once feared it (craziness) may eventuate in me, but I realised fear is where the heart is not- so I made an effort to stop it. Fear can, be your best friend, as it can lead to increasing our trust in God. When we feel fear we can turn in into prayer and trust that all will be for the best. Fears show you what your weaknesses are so you can work on them. And this is what I did…more in the last few months, with the help of a transpersonal growth consultant, kidney tonics (as this organ is the seat of fear,) prayer, meditation and Qigong, many fears, as the fear of going crazy (which is natural and common as all fears are) was be turned to empowerment. In this case I turned it around to say: ‘Focus on your mind, man, tis scattered so.’ To which I obliged happily and with great dedication…and this issue of focus and presence is an eternal challenge. With my best effort to focus and train the mind, if I do go mad, well so be it, I have no fear whatsoever anymore…and that loose screw you mentioned, well just as well it is a bit loose, to allow a bit of Real common sense and spirituality in.

What about your new found Judaism?

Well I always knew I was Jewish, but both as a vicious cycle of my own sins and as a consequence of my rejection of many aspects of modern Judaism I grew further from it and rejected my heritage for the past few years. I always knew of God and I always feared Him, and kept as Kosher as I could, and kept Passover and fasted on Yom Kippur, but in the past few years I lost my fear….i lost my senses. Now following the recent crisis and my self healing with meditation and prayer. I found deep spirituality and much good in our great religion. As I emerged from the crisis and I realised the magic of meditation I decided to try some Jewish meditation…and to put on Tefillin. I fell in love with the Hebrew Aleph-Beth and the spiritual side of Judaism I never knew existed…and I understood that, not only was it not ‘I’ who rescued myself from the deep dungeon, but it was Hashem…and for this I am eternally thankful. I also realised, that Hey, I am a descendant of Avraham…and he got this truth from the ‘universal energy’…hence this is my truth. Then, I had a realisation of immense magnitude, that I would hope every Jew has the privilege of being struck by: ‘Hey you can’t just take what you want…So the spirituality is amazing and promises reaching infinite heights…but there is a book associated with it…the Torah. And the Torah is God’s word, and it says I have to do this and this and this…these commandments –which is actually the wrong word- the true translation is ‘connections’…so I will do them gladly, as they are not only ways to connect to the source, but their commitment is important for inner peace, healing of the personal soul and of the world. And when you consider the spiritual rewards possible (And lets talk about this life for now) it is very worth while to follow God's word. So now I’m striving for Kedusha (Sanctity) and the path of the Just…and I’m loving it. The Teshuva process, as intense as it is, is blessed with miracles.

So what are the criticisms of the Jewish people?

I am not speaking negatively about my people. God’s people. There is a lot of room for improvement and when I am perfect myself I may be in a position to shed some light on the situation in Israel and world Jewry.

For now, I will only discuss Humility. We could all do with a bit more of this.

We must all be humble…because we have no reason to be proud…all our success belongs to the Almighty- truly…and when we engrave this fact in our heart, we will reap amazing rewards.

Elokim chose us to lead by example. We are the chosen people, a fact that I had previously rejected with force…and thought in itself to be arrogance. However, this is fact. He chose us to give to us the Torah and all its secrets (and laws) .He chose us to lead by example. In doing good and being spiritual, not in having pride, money and success…Kudos and Avarice and to flaunt it in front of the eyes of the other nations. We have to bow in humility and acceptance of this task not raise our noses in pride. So, when we next and forever say “Shebacharta banu mikol ha amim” (that you chose us from the other nations) we should remember that this is referring to giving us the task of heading down the path of the Just…and we can take infinite steps down that path. In every one of us Jewish souls there lies a Tzaddik…(the righteous) : we only have to look for it, find it, accept it and magnify its presence. With this presence we will enlighten the world.

Throughout the ages Humility has been our greatest lesson…and Hashem has given us many reminders of our straying from this path through some tough punishments. We do not deserve another.

So what is my message to the world?

Be good. Do the mitzvas and learn the Torah- In the Torah God tells us how to be good. Work on healing yourself, your family and friends and the world. A step at a time. If you do not like yourself in any way- change. Ask yourself- am I helping myself and the world with my career? Do I need to change career to a more healing one? How can I do more? How can I be kinder to myself, and help others more? Meditate. Eat healthy and spread the message of health to those around you. Support organisations that help people and the world.

There is much to fix in this world, and we are here to do it. And it all starts with our own hearts....

May we all have much success in our journey to self purification and holiness

Amen

Amen

Interview with Myself

Amen
